acting weirdly around him?

i think i'm overreacting when i am near the guy i like..
yesterday, another guy called me a "brat".( i think he was kidding, but im not sure.)and the guy i like heard it. i was hurt a little, but looking back, i think it was because i was not acting like.... me. i'm more conservative usually, but yesterday.. i think i went too far with the teasing..
i feel so guilty and i'm afraid that the guy i like won't like me as much as i like him. what can i do? i see him only 3 times a week. :(

p.s. it was another guy that called me a "brat", not the guy i like.
