I have a 1 year old daughter and i would like to get a boxer pup but i dont want my girl to hurt the pup or the pup to hurt my girl .So how old do you think a child should be before getting a pup?

As long as you supervise them playing together it should be fine. Just make sure that you have enough time for a demanding puppy and a baby.

The younger the better for both..BUT DON'T EVER leave your pet alone with a (your) child..of course the pup will grow faster...so you could pace yourself here...wait till the child is older and introduce her/him to a new puppy...puppies like to bite/nip etc...so always be there until they get really, really used to each other.
