By hardest teacher I'm assuming your science teacher does not have the ability to teach her students well. In that case, you should grab your science textbook and read and study each sections of a chapter and be familiar with them. Spend about 15 minutes reviewing each day.
Also, don't procrastinate too much.

you should def. ask the teacher what you can do for extra credit. They let you do that sometimes cuz it makes it look like you care alot about your grade. Oh yeah, look very upset and concerned

If she won't take $ bribes, you can cheat by writing some answers between your fingers. As you finish, you can wipe them off with your thumb (just don' t get caught). Or see if some brain in your class could tutor you.
