A cure is something that solves the problem 100%, the disease is gone!
A treatment is something that helps the problem but does not make the disease go away.
In hemophilia co-nyne would help stop the blood flow and allow it to clot, but would not cure the hemophilia disease.
there is no known cure for hemophilia at this time.

A cure for hemophilia would make the disease go away. Since that is not possible, treatment is given to alleviate the symptoms (such as excessive bleeding). Treatment helps to improve the quality of life for the sufferer when there is no cure.

Wikipedia defines "treatment" as:
1. The process or manner of treating someone or something.
2. Medical care for an illness or injury.
3. The use of a substance or process to preserve or give particular properties to something.
It defines "cure" as:
1. a method, device or medication that restores good health
2. a solution to a problem
----
Basically a treatment is a remedy to weaken the effects of a disease or condition one might have. A cure is when the disease/condition has completely disappeared by use of treatment or (rarely what may seem as) a miracle.

A cure means that the disease is gone: It no longer exists. A treatment is meant to control the symptoms until a cure can be found.

a cure is something that TOTALLY gets rid of whatever it is. A treatment is kinda like a suppressant for the symptoms but will not totally get rid of it but then again a treatment could be the process to a cure.

A cure completely "fixes" something, and actually makes the disease disappear. A treatment just helps with the symptoms, without making the disease go away.

A cure is where you don't need a treatment (you're cured). A treatment is something that is applied so that the end result is a cure (hopefully), or if not a cure, a lessening of symptoms or lessening of the progression of a disease.
