my mom had her gallbladder removed, it was severly infected with gain green, now she is still having pain where her gallbladder was what could this be?

she states that it has been a year but i think possible has been no more tha 6 months please help

I had my gallbladder out 5 years ago...It still hurts some to this day..She will probably be OK, this seems to be a side effect of gallbladder surgery.But she should ask her DR. for sure.It never hurts to have it checked out.

How long has it been since the operation? Pain from the surgery itself may be what bothers her, remember doctors cut her skin, maybe some muscle and moved around her insides. You have to Wait for her body to heal.

As a healthcare provider I would first need to know how long ago she had her surgery. Also, I would do some blood tests. She needs to see the family healthcare provider.
