I met this guy at a hockey game he is my age and he lives in a town about 25 minutes away from where I live. He is cute, and I wanna call him. The only thing is, I get so nervous when I talk to people I don't know on the phone. What should I do, and what should I say?!?!?

be yourself! when he answers say hey this is [your name] how are you?? and go from there. i'm sure you already feel butterflies, but it's really the easiest thing in the world. recap on the day you guys met and the conversation will flow from there.

If you really like him call. Tell him who you are and then just start asking questions. If you both like hockey ask him about it. See what he thinks. And dont be nervous or shy! Im not good at talking to people either and when I first talked to my boyfriend I hardly asked anything. Then when the conversation was over I felt like a total dork. If hes a good guy he wont care what you say to much so just be your self.

well if you don't feel confident about talking on the phone then maybe text or message him in some way. but if you really want to call him then do it! don't let yourself think too hard on it because then you'll only question yourself more. and before you call figure out what you are really calling him for. do you want to ask him to hang out? or just see what he's up too? maybe even both. just pick up the phone... dial his number... let it ring and when you reach him just say hey this is (your name), you gave me your number a couple days ago and i just thought id call and see what your up too. and then let the conversation go from there. if you get a answer machien DONT HANG UP! its perfect just leave him a message. and make sure you say who you are and how he can reach you back! well good luck with everything!

Just call him and tell him that ya'll met a couple of days ago at the hockey game and you were just calling to say hi. he could take the conversation from there and just follow his lead

Start with "Hello"... move to light conversation about the game or Hockey in general since that's obviously a shared interest... and end with a casual suggestion for meeting again.

If you really like this guy call him and see what he has to say. So start out as been friends and see where it leads you, you cann't go wrong if you do not like the way he talks on the phone then you don't have to talk to him any more.

If you get nervous when you talk to people, I think you could think of some topics to talk about first, write them on a piece of paper before you call him. So even if you get nervous, at least you know what you can talk to him about by reading the paper.

Call him like 3 days after he gave you his Number. And call him like at evening time. Be like..Hii, you know who this is? then let him guess a while and laughh. Then when you let him know, act like your home DOING NOTHING AND BORED..because then he'll now you juse called him CAUSE YOUR BORED lol. The reason why you should call evening time like around 2 is because he might be like WHAT YOU GANNA DO TONITE and be like OH I DUNNO HAVN'T PLANNED ANYTHING YET..and he would ask you out that nite if he wants.
