my boy friend didn't get me any thing on valintines day which is also my b-day and on top of that our first year anaversery (we met at a valintines day party what should i do? break up with him and leave him but i love him. and i never felt this way about anyone before

So... you want to leave him because you are materialistic and things are more important to you than love? Have you talked to him about it... maybe he has a good excuse ( OK its a long shot ) but if you love him you should talk to him about it. Valentines day and birthdays shouldn't be about what gifts you get.

the problem is did he remember? did he even have enough money but was too ashamed to admit it? listen to him and try looking at it from his side first then decide what to do next.
