the body will compensate by heightening one of the other senses

Did you know the human body has six senses? If you lost one, then you will have to rely on the other five. For example, if you lose your hearing, you have to with your eyes, feelings and everything else that your body has.

Actually i dont know but my father was in a really bad car wreck when i was 4 & he lost his sense of smell.He also lost feeling for pain. I saw him slam his hand in something & he never flinched.He could not feel the pain.
