i broke up with my ex about 4 months ago because he was attracted to another girl... at first we were "friends" but we kept arguing about things between us, then i told him that we probably can't be friends... about a month ago, he says hi to me on msn, i didn't answer him and just logged off... since then, no more contact... i don't think we can be friends because of the type of person he is and because he wouldn't admit that that other girl caused our break up... what do u think he wanted and what do u think of my reaction?

No your not, and keep your self respect and dignity. Don't give it to him. They feel good when they can get over on people. I think some get a rush from getting back with the one they hurt, and then they do it again. I see where the name player came in and some players make the wrong move, you can't take it back in a card game or board game so why should they be able to take it back in life? And then hurt the same person again. Move on in your life and don't let him get to you.

Uh, yes I think your response was immature. Would it have killed you to say "hi" to him? Logging off was a huge sign of immaturity. Are you sure the other girl caused the break up? Could it be that maybe you were wearing him out. He may have wanted to apologize for all you know, but you didn't even give him a chance. You said you can't be friends with him because of the type of person he is - well what type of person is that? I don't know either of you, but you sound a little high strung - sorry. Check yourself. Evaluate your part in the relationship. Did you give it your all? Were you the cause of the arguments? Remember, when you point a finger there are 3 more pointing back at you.

ok. you asked three questions here, whether you meant to or not,
were you immature? i don't think you did the right thing, but i don't think "immature" would be the right word. it's too harsh. please know i COMPLETELY understand your point of view and why you would do this, but you don't want more than a friendship, so even if he wanted to get back together with you or something, it wouldn't matter to you because you genuinely don't like him as a person, right? i think you should have replied, to be honest.
however maybe he was trying to be friends with you (and nothing more) because he finally wanted to make some peace.
i can't really tell you what he wanted, but no matter the circumstances, he wanted to talk to you, so he's probably not happy.

a breakup like that doesn't mean you two can't be friends. He does not have to admit to anything because you see what's the point? It's over and done with and there's nothing you can do to rewrite the past unless you have a time machine.

Yes, you are immature if you still have in your head a question obout a person as was your friend. Friendship must be build on trust, respect, honesty and loyalty. That boy is very unmmature and it looks, he has nothing in his head, than just fun with girls.

well being attracted to another girl isn't something he can control but i can understand why you did what you did. If you still like him i would ask him if he still feels the same about the girl and if he says no ask if he thinks u should get back togeather.

My ex has a girl friend...but it's me he always comes to.
He even calls me or comes over when he has been with her.
I don't sleep with him though.....now I think it turns him on...because I don't fall all over him....he is a Big Good looking Biker....very sexy....very very hot.
