Two weeks of bad eating habits does not equal anorexia. And starving yourself will not make you lose weight anyway, you are more likely to binge on food that is bad for you and make yourself sick. If you are 5'0" and 110 kilos you are obese, but if you are 5'0" and 110lbs, you are in no way overweight.
It is good that you have noticed that there may be a problem, and what you need to do now is talk to someone, your parents or a doctor or someone who can get you help should you need it.
I battled bulimia for 2 years before I finally admitted I had a problem and asked my partner to help me overcome it. It's been a year since we started working on it, and some days I still eat nothing or will spew if I do, but I am getting better. Don't let a silly thing like what you weight put your life and your happiness at risk.
The whole skinny/fat attractive/not attractive mentality of society is so warped anyway. Concentrate on being happy in your own skin and who gives a flying rats behind what anyone else thinks?

I'm sorry you're not feeling very well. The irony is, with proper food and nutrition, you can and will feel great. But by not eating, you're not feeding your body or your brain, and then you feel worthless, which makes you not eat.
What you eat affects your mental functioning. By choosing certain foods, you may be better able to balance your emotional and mental health. Putting the right fuel into your body may affect your performance and make the difference between a happy day and a grumpy day.
There is no doubt that food can make us feel good. Food has the ability to alter the production or release of neurotransmitters. This mood-food relationship is explained by neurotransmitters, which are chemical messengers transmitting our thoughts and actions to the brain. The food we eat affects the neurotransmitters, thus changing our moods.

No absoultly don't be ashamed of it! There's tons of people out there who have anorexia it's a normal condition that many girls have out there. Nothing to be ashamed of, I suggest you go to your Doctor to make sure because it could be something else besides Anorexia and they might be able to help you out and see what's wrong. That's what I would do if I was in your place. And one more thing please don't be ashamed of it or telling other people I think you did the right thing getting some advice from YahooAnswers and besides my sister went through the same thing, she thought the same way you did and didn't know what else to do she went to the Doctor and she's much better now and hope you are too.

It's possible that you maybe in the process of becoming anorexic, but I wouldn't jump to conclusions. I would go to my mom or a school consular before this really become to serious for anyone to handle. With throwing up means that you may have bulimia, if you throw up on purpose the acid from it wheres off the enamel on your teeth which is the part that make your teeth look shiny and feel soft! GOOD LUCK!!!

Yes, you are anorexic. Your body thinks you are starving and therefore, will hold on to as much body fat as possible in order to keep you alive.
If you continue to avoid food, here's what will happen:
Your periods will stop.
Your estrogen levels will drop, leading to fatigue, FACIAL HAIR and a lower voice.
Your bones will become brittle.
Your heart will be so low on potassium you will have a heart attack.
5'0" and 110 pounds is absolutely healthy. You need to tell your mom, a teacher, SOMEONE who can help you before it's too late.

110 lbs at 5' tall doesn't sound fat to me. And no one has the right to judge you but yourself. If you feel you have a problem, ask your doctor. I promise he won 't be judgemental and he won't laugh at you. Good luck and God bless.

Hon, your height /weight ratio is perfect!!! Consider why you don't want to eat. Is it just because you feel you're overweight? Usually, there are underlying reasons. Whether you can be considered anorexic/bulemic yet doesn't matter. Sounds as if you're well on your way. I can't agree more with the people who say to get counselling. Please, please do.
