One product that I've heard works really well is Proactiv. I've never tried it myself, but I have noticed something recently. I was on birth control pills for about a year, and two months ago I ran out of them and didn't make it into the doctor right away. I got sooo many pimples when I wasn't taking it anymore!! Birth control pills are known to help reduce acne, and I found that is extremely true! Even if you are not sexually active, you may consider taking them. Ask your doctor about this. :)
Ooh, another thing, don't pick at the buggers! As tempting as it may be, don't pick them, it makes them worse :P. Also, you may already know, wash your face at least once a day, especially after you wear makeup. Eating fruit is also supposed to help your skin. I'm in college, associate degree nursing, so I've taken some nutrition classes.

There's one cardinal rule for never getting pimples, ever.
Follow this very simple rule scrupulously: Keep your skin absolutely 100% CLEAN!
NEVER touch your face with your fingers. Anything you put on your face should be clean and sanitized. This includes makeup, creams, lotions, pillows, bedsheets, scarves, spectacles, cell phones, accessories, your own hair, and other people's hands or belongings.
If you think something may not be clean, then don't let it touch your face.
If you think you may be scratching your face in your sleep, rinse your hands with water mixed with a bit of antiseptic (like Dettol) before bedtime.
You have to be disciplined and consistent and stick to it. You'll soon stop having any more pimples.
While you're on your way to pimple-free paradise, you might want to try applying lemon or orange juice (or diluted vinegar) on your face twice a day, morning and night. This normalizes the skin's PH level. Apply with cotton wool and rinse off after 5 to 10 minutes or leave to dry on the face.

A week before my brother's wedding I tried a solution I read in a magazine and it worked. I applied egg yolk on my face and let it sit there for a while until it firmed. Then I cleansed. It cleared my face up. Also, you may want to see a dermatologist. They can give you a prescription for your acne. Stay away from soda and sweets and DRINK PLENTY of water. Water is a natural cleanser. Hope this works!

Have you tried not necessarily to wash your face with soap everyday twice a day, but use some treatments, like nivea for men or gilette. Also a toner will help your pores and limit oilyness. What i find with my skin if i use something new a couple days i will break out, but it's best to stick with it b/c your skin is trying to get use to it, But i would totally recomend going to the drug store and picking up some non fragrent facewash, and toner. It will more than likely be in the lotion section, and there is no differnce between a woman & a male one. also apply some non sented lotion afterwards. For the rest of your body, try to limit your skin to the least amount of fragrented soap as possible. spray colgone or body spray on your clothes or in the air and walk through it for a scent if you wish. best of luck and don't worry they aren't the end of the world. everyone gets them :) :(

i guess i'm really lucky. i'm 14 and i've never gotten one pimple in my life. i've gone through my period as well. my doctor says that i should wash my hair more often to keep them away. oil makes the pimples grow quicker maybe? my friends have ALOT of pimples as well, dont worry to show ur pimple to other people, because everyone knows they are normal. alot of kids in my class are constantly having outbreaks. its okay, love yourself.
