By a pencil accidentally. I accidentally jammed my palm into a pencil tip. please give advise

pencils are graphite not lead. duh

Flush it out with warm water. Did the lead break off? You can take a medicine syringe and flush it fast and really well with warm water wash your hand really well with warm water and soap, gently pat dry and put some neosporin and bandaid on it. Good luck

Doesn't matter, don't do anything, graphite won't hurt you. My friend stuck me with a pencil years a couple years ago and I still have a piece of graphite stuck in my forearm. Makes for a good story.

did any of the point break off in you, If it did, you may want to have it dug out, or it will bother you later. If not, it should be at least cleaned up and watch for infection, redness, swelling, puss oozing out. Pencil lead is clay dirt and graphite,(carbon). The wood part is natural also.

i did taht years ago just pull it all out or ull regret it 3 years from now when u can still see some of the graphite under ur skin

Hopefull you pulled out the pencil. Rinse your hand thoroughly in cool water. Rinse again with peroxide to cleanse the wound and bandage it. I have done the same thing before. Ouchie!

well, if you are well enough to enter a question about this on yahoo, the wound probably is not serious.
Just wash your hands, place an antiseptic on the wound, and wrap your hand in a bandage. If your hand swells and the pain persists, go see your doctor.

how deep? all the way to the wood, or just the tip?
not too deep-- soap and water, Neosporin and a bandaid.
all the way through? blood and guts? Maybe the ER.

pull the tip if it is still in there out with tweezers, and unless you are diabetic i wouldnt worry about it..it will heal..just keep the area clean. if you are diabetic go to your dr.
