we are all one , all connected ... no matter if you look at this from a religious perspective or not
we need to embrace each other as such
people really should read this verse more and try to understand it as you have

I'm all for it. It seems to me that everyone on this earth should get along; we're all mostly good people, and even if we don't agree on who our God is, who our saviour is, can't we agree that we are one? I like that quote, it's one of my favorite's from John. So, my thoughts... Well, let me put it like this.
A lot of us are different from one another, seperate. But, if we can all work together, you find that we're really not actually all that different, you know? And maybe it's a coincidence and maybe it isn't, but, I think it's a sign that if nothing else, we're meant to be together, you know? And why not try to be as one, when there's so much to be done in the world, and you think, that regardless of the saviour you pray to... Wouldn't He want that? Just my two cents.

Which Jesus? The Mormon Jesus is a different Jesus. The Jehovah Witness is a different Jesus. The Islam Jesus is not Jesus at all.
My Jesus was God made flesh who died and rose on the third day according to all the Law and the prophets. Show me someone who adheres to THAT Jesus and we are instantly one in fellowship.

Well then why did God have his "chosen people?"
You're right in saying we should embrace diversity, and I do believe we are all connected by an energy that we have yet to define.

I think that the true Church of Jesus Christ universal does embrace each other in spite of our peripheral differences.

So wouldn't it be lovely if all the Christians on here could follow that, instead of the nasty, bitter hatred of some for anyone who does not choose to believe what they have chosen to believe.
