No. Had He been married, He would have ensured that His brother would take care of any wife He had under the Levirite Law. (See Genesis 38:8ff and Cf. Deuteronomy 25:5ff) Since all He was concerned with was someone taking care of His mother, we can rest assured there was no wife. (John 19:27)

There is no evidence in scripture that Jesus was married. The only person he entrusted to someone's care after his death was his mother, Mary. If he had been married, The first person he would have provided for under Jewish law would be his wife. Jesus was a responsible son and had he been married he would have been just as responsible with a wife. His mission on this earth was to die for the sins of the world. A marriage would have been counter to what he was there for.

Well, I don't believe that Jesus was resurrected three days after his death, but I do believe that he died on the cross. I do not believe that he was married to Mary Magdelene at the time of his death, because I do believe that he was committed to teaching and not concerned about marraige. I think that the appearance of the resurrected Jesus were the hallucinations of his grief-stricken followers, because his death meant that he truly was just a man and a teacher. As for the idea that Jesus did not die on the croos -- I mean, after all, the chances of his physical body surviving all the beatings, the crucifixion itself, and being impaled in the side is pretty slim, considering that medicine was not advanced in those days.
Speaking as an atheist, I believe that if there were enough evidence to prove that those were really the tombs of Jesus, Mary, and their son, science would have revealed this evidence sooner. The idea certainly is entertaining, but I don't personally think that it is accurate.

Absolutely not...... This whole Divinci Code garbage..... I did a study on the subject as a whole and the book.... What I found was that Dan Brown and this concept is a fraud. There is know factual evidence to back those claims. As a matter of fact how this whole ideology came about was from the Primary of Zion. This group founded in a small French town was started for the sole purpose to re-establish a French Monarchy by using linage to this town as a means to accomplish this goal. The one member of this organization forged documentation and was later caught by the French authorities. He went to jail and confessed on television to this hoax. The Dan Brown book obviously does not mention that small notation and there are no facts to back up his hypothesis. BOTTOM LINE, RIDICULOUS!!!!!!

No. Lets say that he was, just for the sake of argument. The forgiveness of sin could only be with the blood from a spotless, unblemished, pure lamb (a virgin). Now, if Jesus Christ was married with children, that would negate the Salvation of all of us, and we would be going to a very unhappy place!! Reason it out!!

No. No where in the Bible does it say that. One none-christian man actually proved the Davinci Code wasn't true. The directors even admitted it wasn't, they were in it for the story, not the truth of it.
If you think this answer isn't eligible or w/e because it's partly based on the truth of the bible, consider this:
How do we know George Washington really existed? History books. Have history books ever been wrong? Yes. Do we still believe them? Yes. Do you know anyone who doesn't believe history books? I would assume not.
So why not believe the Bible? It's never been wrong.

There isn't one shred of evidence—not one—to support this idea. The book or documentary you are referring to is fiction—and that's exactly what this idea is: fiction.
Nowhere in the Bible (or in any other Christian writing after Jesus' ministry) is there any hint at all that Jesus was married. For example, His closest relatives and disciples came together at the cross as He was dying—but no wife is mentioned, as she would have been if He had been married. Jesus' sole concern then was for the welfare of His mother (see John 19:26-27).
This isn't to say that Jesus disapproved of marriage—not at all. In fact, His first miracle took place at a wedding, to which He had been invited with His mother and some of His disciples (see John 2:1-11). God gave marriage to us, and Jesus spoke often about the joys and responsibilities of marriage. Most of the earliest disciples were married, including Peter (whose mother-in-law was healed by Jesus—Mark 1:30).
Jesus came into the world for one reason: to die for our sins on the cross. Don't be misled by myths that might turn you away from that great truth. Instead, make sure of your commitment to Him, for "He himself bore our sins in his body on the tree (cross), so that we might die to sins and live for righteousness" (1 Peter 2:24).

No, because His purpose on this planet was NOT to live as we do; but to be the ultimate sacrifice for all of our sins. Which means He had to be, (just like the spotless and unblemished 'lambs' from the Old Testament), spotless and sinless. This is a reason that He is also called "The Lamb of God".
Besides, our opinions do not matter when it comes to God and His Holy Word. Whenever someone says "I think", "To me it is", or anything along those lines ---- they are breaking one of the Ten Commandments "Do not commit Idolatry".
When you commit Idolatry, the only thing you are accomplishing; is to 'creat a god to fit within the image YOU have made in your mind'. And are not believing, in the One True Living God / Yahweh / Jehovah, which is taught to us in His Holy Word (the Bible).

Mary was Jesus' mother, and He told John, while on the cross, to take her into his home and take care of her. Mary Magdalene was there as well. If they were married, Jesus would have provided for her as well. Do you think after the resurrection that Jesus would have known that Mary M. was pregnant with their child? Yet, when He spoke to her, she called Him "teacher", not "husband", and neither spoke of activity in the womb. A little common sense is needed here.
