Depends on what you're giving up on.
But I've tried to give up on life to see that when I separated myself further from everyone, the more they pulled me back and made my "giving up" an impossibility.
Giving up in school gets you nowhere.
Giving up on a book makes me crazy.
Giving up a game I've been playing makes me feel like a loser.
Giving up on sex was never a problem because it wasn't a major staple to begin with.
Giving up on marriage will never happen because I fought too hard to be with my wife.
Giving up on life in general is harder now that I have to live for someone other than myself.
I don't know what it is you're looking for but buy 3eb's first album. It helped me through a time.

oh yeah i have been ready! but i believe you should never give up because if you do you will never get anywhere.
i can only guess that your talking about a guy.
but i have been going through rough times and im married he has a girlfirend and he is in germany right now.
i thought about giving up but i cant because if i do then i will lose the man i love i cant handle that and you shouldnt be okay with giving up either.
dont lose faith!

Give up! Do it! That's what I did and I met my husband very soon afterwards. Sounds like you need to take a break anyway. Dating is so hard. Maybe swear off for a little while and just do stuff with friends. Give it up for lent! : ) Har-de-har!
No nasty Catholic jokes now. I don't appreciate them.

Not me!!! I just came out of a year long relationship, a period of being really really broke, no job, no car.... and WOOOOHOOOO thats all changing for the better and hopefully its only getting better from here!!! Never ever give up... I don't care how hard **** gets... take breaks yes, get your head together, go on a sabbatical, do what you gotta do...but don't give up...thats for losers.

i dont think we should ever "give up". i think we need to sometimes take breaks and enjoy someone or something else in life until we get the gusto to tackle "it" (someone or something else-old or new) along those lines, again....
