when i was seventeen i had never dated anyone and i was still a virgin, then i met this guy and i fell in love with him, we spent every day together and it was great... two years later we had a child together and we remained together for five years after that and then he cheated on me and i kicked him out.. that was two years ago and i have not dated since, so my entire life i have had one boyfriend and i would describe myself as the perfect girlfriend (I am not exaggerating... ppl love me) so why is it that i cannot find one, or why aren't men asking me out? do I need to ask them out? and i want to have a man so bad.. there is a void in my life not having a companion... how do i pick one that is right for me or do i just try some until i find a good one? i need help...

You don't. Sounds like you would rather have someone with lots of money.
But you also have to consider that you were only in one other relationship and had a child. How many men do you know that want a family with someone elses kids?
I'm not paying for someone elses kid. I don't care how cute it is.
People love you; God says we are to love all. How do you know their not pointing fingers behind your back?
Put an ad on the internet; their are many sites.

Try getting over yourself for starters and then try not being so desperate, then just act nice and be friendly and talk to people, then maybe someone will give you a chance. If you are so girlfriend perfect-.......maybe you should try less. Stop acting so PERFECT and step down a notch or 2.
