How can i get my crush to like me more or how can i know if she does like me?

There is this girl that I like and I can sense she likes me because we talk on instant messenger alot, we text one another alot. If we dont meet up she gets upset that she didnt get a chance to see me. Recently I asked her to be my date to my formal that I have, she said yes. Me and her decided like a long time ago that we didnt want a relationship with anyone at all at that time. And now I feel that things are changing that I have strong feelings about her bc I like her more than a friend. Whenever something is wrong or if she needed help she calls me. Does she like me a lot? Would she be my girlfriend? How can i find out, what can i do or say? Thanks

God gave you a mouth and a tongue for just these occassions. use them to speak, and don't try to say things that you think will answer your question without really asking, that is so lame and rarely works. if you act timid and beat around the bush , she will think you are lame, and don't think because you got this friend thing going that if you try this and it fails, you can always go back to the friend mode, it don't work that way, once feelings are brought in to a relationship it changes everything, you will definately see a different side of her than you have ever seen before, it may not be nice either, females can get pretty crazy when their feelings get involved. so be warned. you are messing with fire here.be sure you are willing to do without her as a friend if you try this. becuase it rarely works and you will probably lose her as a friend. been there done that as they say.

the best way to find out is to talk to her and tell her how you feel. she won't freak out because she's really attached to you. it sounds like she really like you as more than a friend;)
