This is probably one of the top ten questions I would ask g-d if I had the chance. Man, life sucks to such a point that us humans cannot grasp the meaning of love and happiness. It's sad right? Well, we aren't totally hopeless. How can someone explain to you what the feeling of love is? What love means to a person, is specific to that person. It is the same as telling a woman, if your husband loved you, he wouldn't put those bruises on your face. The same goes with happiness, a student with dyslexia finally completes his first sentence. Wouldn't he be just as happy as that person who has had their first orgasm or their first child or won a million dollars? So, basically, love and happiness are elusive because all explanations for them would be impartial!

love and happiness aren't elusive they are hard to find (when it's right) but then if something as important as love and happiness wasn't hard to find would it be worth having? I mean if it's easy then is it worthy of such greatness in the eye of those who hold it dearly? Would it be better if you had lovers lined up to make you happy? Of course not Love is specialized an inner link of unspoken needs and fulfillment with one person who is just the right height, just the right weight and has the right smell. Love isn't blind but it is perfect when it finds you it sweeps you off your feet and gives you everything you ever wanted times three. Happiness is where your heart is after giving without asking for something in return. Please do this... try giving more often and let love find you worthy of all the happiness in the world.

Because to have these things you need to be happy serving people. Kind of like, If you want more love in your life, show more. That type of thing. The law of attraction. Thats why it's so elusive. It take self-discipline.

Because by believing that all you need is love or happiness you denigrate both concepts, try all I need is oxygen, it makes it sound insignificant, in 60 seconds you would be pleading for it, not saying all I need is oxygen. Secondly, you are objectifying both concepts because our market based life leads you to believe that you should be able to buy these things, it should be (at worst) a simple matter of saving up and/or working hard for the credit; but no, we elude them by failing to understand their true nature and not dealing w. reality. Asking for either is a v. tall order because they are the biggest thing you can have even if you work hard at investing both in others it will only occasionally be reciprocated.

Because neither is a tangible, definable object.

Love and Happiness are really matters of perception and perspective. Both are relative to your past experiences and vary widely on what you value and cherish in life.

If you feel like you lack love and happiness in life, you simply must open yourself up to them and realize that they can both be found in many different situations and places throughout life and in many different forms.

Put youre desire to experience more love and happiness in your life out there and be open to them appearing in unexpected ways.

Love is tricky - it's really hard to find someone that is really compatable with you. As for happiness- there is no magic pill or happy shiny rainbow to make it all better. You make your own happiness by choosing to be satisfied with your life and not stressing about all that stuff you don't have. You try to improve what you can and try to just be positive. I truly don't think there are happy people and miserable people. I think there are people who choose to be positive and have more happy moments.

Because you are looking outside of yourself for love and happiness. Love and happiness have to start within you first, then you radiate it outward and it effects everyone you know. If you are waiting for love and happiness to come to you from an external source you are going to be disappointed and waiting for a long time.
