I am very over whelmed. I try my best to keep my 2 pit pupps in a clean environment, etc. The thing is that i just found out they got fleas, and I bought flea shampoo which I hope will work out for them. But then I also noticed that one of my pups has some skin rashes by the mouth, and I don't know if that's because the other pup hurt him last time that they got in a fight. Also one of them has like 3 areas by his tail that looks like the hair is fallin off, and I don't know if it's allergies or because of the fleas. I want to do something right away so I can finish with all these "hygiene" problems, but I can't trust nothing nomore; I'm scared of spending money on something that might not work. I once spend money on revolution and frontline treatment from a vet, and they charge way to much even to go for a vet visit, when in reality, it gives no effect on my pups. I just need something good and reliable, and that will actually keep my pups flea free and with clean coat and skin.

OK you need to go to a vet first and get the right thing for your pups. I use revolution and it works great for my dog and she has a lot of hair and I live in a hot climate. You can buy the medicine one pack at a time not the full 6 months supply. Your bald spots on the pups sound like ringworm and that can only be treated by a vet. Really, if you can't afford to take your dogs to the vet you really should consider finding them another home. I am not being mean, I am just being honest. They depend on you for their care. You are their parent. You have to be responsible. Please take this advice.

Once your pet has fleas, you need to focus on 3 areas ... 1) your pet, 2) your home/car, and 3) your yard (if you have one). Fleas can live off of your pet, and will settle into furniture, floorboards, carpeting, etc. Take your dogs to a professional groomer for a good anti-parasite shampooing. While your dogs are out, get some good flea products to "bomb" or "fog" your home. READ THE DIRECTIONS CAREFULLY! Make sure you get enough for your entire home, even areas your dogs don't go (fleas go everywhere!). Also, get some products for your yard, if applicable. And a good premises flea spray for your car would be good too. Wash your pets' bedding in hot water, or replace it. And get Frontline. It does work, but you have to be sure to apply it correctly and keep up with it (it has to be applied every 30 days to be effective).
The skin/coat issues could be from the flea bites. Most dogs have what is called a "flea allergy", which is basically an allergic reaction to flea bites. VERY common. They could be losing hair from scratching and biting at it because of the fleas. I would take your dogs to the vet after you eliminate the flea problem just to be sure that's all it is, and that it's not a medical issue (like a mange/mites issue, thyroid problem, etc).
Doing all this WILL be expensive ... but once you do it, keeping your dogs clean and cared for with Frontline, you shouldn't have to worry about it again!
Good luck!

Frontline and Advantix are generally the best flea treatments out there, but you have to be vigilant and use them every month or the fleas will come back. There are other ways to buy these products without going to the vet, including most pet stores. The hair loss may be from scratching from fleas or flea allergies. Once the fleas are gone, if the hair loss continues, you should see the vet. The dog may other types of allergies, such allergies to food. Vets aren't cheap, but they are your best help in dealing with skin problems. I took mine today to deal with a food allergy - wasn't cheap but it needed to be done.

Sounds like there might be a little more going on with your pups. You should take then to the vets. You can also buy over the counter flea treatments, and a hypoalergenic spray to help with any rash like patches. But, the one pup may have the mange, and that is really bad.

Once you have fleas, it will take a quite a while to get rid of. They lay eggs that hatch monthes later. Be diligent and stick with the flea medications, collars and spray everything in your house to get rid of eggs. It may take a couple of treatments months later.

Try "fight soap". This is designed to keep the dogs slick when you're fighting them. I think you can buy "Fight Soap" at PetSmart.
