My boyfriend is 16 soon to be 17 and I'm 18 but 19 this year. We were engaged but he lied to me bout the ring. The ring belongs to his mother. I love him but I feel I don't know him anymore.

Well first of alll i think your too young to get married~ you might someone else you can really trust and lve more in the future if you wait and see what you want in a husband! But if you really want to marry him ask him why he did that? Maybe you'l understand him better! Maybe he has a good reason! Talk to him and make wureyu guys really want to get married! Why did he lie?? And it is a really nice gesture that the ring was in his family. And just an FYI: you sound like hte tow of you are too young to get married anyways. 17 and 18?? That is really young. If you feel like you dont know him anymore over the ring sitch... a) then you shouldnt be engaged bc that is a minor glitch in a line of other, more seriosu, issues that may (and probably will) come up while you are spending the rest of your life with him. Ummm maybe re-think this marriage at 18 thing..

if this boy is 16 hes of course not going to have enough money for a ring so temporary should work for you now.
i got married at 18 and he was 20.
he couldnt afford a real ring untill about the end of our first year of marrige.

First off, you are 18-19 and he is 16-17. You two are way to young to get married. You have your whole life for that. You two are young, go out and have fun.

sorry honey but a 16 year old cant even buy a ring let a lone be able to promise you forever. he doent even know what forever means yet he is still a baby. you need to get someone your own age or even like 3 years olde. that way they are more mature and can be on your level. (commitment and etc.)

they say age has no reason when in love BUT remember when he is 18 then he can go out & party since you are over 18 make sure yoy are not being used to buy grog for him THINK ABOUT IT

lol..his mom will be pissed and probably make u give it back..The first screw up he did was that. If you accept the ring, you will never leave him alone about how cheap he is that he couldnt buy one for you himself.
