God did not finish all that He wants us to know in the Bible. He still speaks to His Prophet here on earth.. and possibly to others as well. He speaks to us all through the Holy Spirit unless we have turned our backs and become deadened to the promptings of the Holy Spirit.

I wish I knew the answer but I am almost afraid to try and answer it. I got so slammed by asking a question about In God we Trust. Maybe he finished all he had to say in the Bible and he wants us to learn from those lessons. Maybe he is now in the life after waiting for us to start the next leg of our journey. So many people out there no longer believe in God so maybe he ceased to exists when the people of a new century came upon us. I thought I truly believed in God and just didn't understand his ways but after what happened to me with my question this morning I don't know. I was called moron, idiot, uneducated and stupid. How can there be a god?. he would never let so many rude people walk this earth if he really did exists. No I guess my answer is he no longer talks to us but then again I guess mother and fathers don't talk to us either because in my day we were taught to be polite no matter what faults others had. I myself might feel he no longer speaks but he guides me every day of my life.

I heard a real voice.while I was praying very fervently for my father .Go Rub his Feet.I got up off the floor.Five hours had passed while i was praying??It didn't seem like maybe just five minutes.I went to the hospital.I rubbed his feet. .he opened his eyes, he had been in a coma from a stroke for nine days.had to have a resuscitator to breath and had a lung infection.he was out of the hospital in 3 days and lived well for 11 more years.he talked more then he did before the stroke.& had just a little memory problem. The doctor heard about it because the nurse came in while I was rubbing his feet and I told her God said to do that, she had said for me not to rub his legs because it might cause blood clots.I told her I took jurisdiction here,as I am his son.the doctor told my mother that this was a miracle.I very much appreciated God for this.
I have been lead by the spirit in many ways.and so have my parents, you not only have to pray but you have to learn to listen for the answers. It usualy comes in a very quiet voice.but when I heard the voice to go rub his feet it was loud and clear.
tears or coming to my eyes right now.

Yes. God is a Spirit and he speaks to our spirits through the Holy Spirit. He uses His Word (the bible) to reveal things to us. That is why it is important to spend time studying the bible and in prayer.

God speaks to everyone of us all the time. The only difference is some people have ignored Him so many times, they cannot hear Him.

The Bible is his completed message, but it is living and active, and we can continually discover new things about it. God is still active, and communicates immediately to the believer through the Holy Spirit.

The life, death and resurrection of Jesus was the final word for the masses.
We are guided every day personally by the Holy Spirit. Sometimes in my life it is more clear then words.
Shalom.
