When it comes to Canada or the USA the government sucks. They are there for your money and that is the bottom line-If they would just stop to realize for a moment that they are spending our hard earned dollars. Their limos their fancy meals which cost thousands. We could do the same if we sit in the Parliament and white House and took money from all the people in the world. You'd be happy to make laws stand as long as the people paid money.Until every person in this world stood up against them and gave them not one cent then I would think they would not be so smart. As long as us people hand over our money they will sit back and be happy on us.And they are like crows they will go down your throat for your last piece of bread. Not a sole can say I'm speaking wrong.

First of all, while Canada has National Health care, which is needed in the U.S., it is not "excellent", and is quickly becoming a two-tier system like the U .S. (faster and better care if you can pay for it). Canada is cleaner than the U.S., safer, though much of that is due to one tenth the population. I would say it has a good government that seems to be working overall, and seems to be working better than the U.S. system at the moment.. But best in the world? That would be a big order, and since I have not experienced every type of government, I could not make that assessment intelligently.

Canada doesn't have half the problems that many other countries have, so you could theorize it has a good government. On the other hand, Canada would very likely need the U.S. and other countries to defend it in a time of serious crisis.

I don't know anything about the Canadian government as I am in the UK, but I seriously doubt that they, or any other government, could be as useless as the labour government which is ruining the United Kingdom right now...

I live in the U.S. and the fact that they have the best health care (everyone has a medical card) says something. Also crime is much lower than the u.s.
I wonder why?

Best only in the sense that I don't hear much about them in the US; apart from creating a socialized health care system that slows medical care to the point that you can die before getting treated, and taxing its hard-working citizens to death to pay for it, uh, no. Not so much.
And what have we really gotten from Canada anyway? Hmmm, protection from Greenland. Celine Dion and no instructions on how to turn her off. Shania Twain . . . gee, thanks. Coins that don't work in our vending machines. And old people without the faintest idea how to drive in Florida all freakin winter long. Eh?
