I have one on my upper back middle lower neck I got it befor i became pregnant.I need to finsh it can i if i'm 17 week's pregnant?

most tattoo places won't tattoo you if you are pregnant. there is always a risk of getting an infection when you get tattooed, even tho the risk is small it would be horrible to pass on something or make the baby sick. you should definitely wait until after you have the baby.

you shouldn't and most likely if your artist knows you're pregnant...he/she won't work on you. I would wait until you've had your baby and if you're planning on nursing, I would wait until your baby starts solids and is not solely fed on breastmilk.
Looked up alot of this stuff before i got my tattoo and contacted my dr, my daughter's pedi and la leche league beforehand......pls feel free to email me about it if u have any ques.
Also - my cousin is an anesthisiologist(the dr that administers an epidural) and her and I had quite a few discussions about epidurals and tattoos before hand as well. My tattoo is not in the center lower back but her and I still discussed it quite a bit.

Most tattoo artists will turn you down if you try to get a tattoo when you're pregnant, and for good reason...you need to be taking very careful care not to do anything to your body that might traumatize your baby.

the only reason you should wait is because of the possibility of getting an infection.and theres the normal risk of getting a disease as well.which we all know is a possibility while being tatted.i would wait just cause its not that long so why risk it

Yes! You must absolutely wait til the baby has come to the world ;-) ! The skin's very sensitive and delicate now,and it could also be dangerous for the baby.... Best Wishes!!!

You could if you wanted too, back there may be the possibily that you could injure the baby in the doing. In my opinion, it would be better to wait till after you've had the baby.

I agree, wait. First, I've heard that if you get a tatoo on your back, you can't have an epideral, which is a pain reliever during labor, which you will REALLY want. Also, it's not wise to endanger the baby if the tatoo somehow gets infected, or if the needle is not properly steralized.

Girl you better wait...your skin is sensitive during pregnancy. It's going to hurt more than it did b-4 you got preggers
