I am from a small town and I have never had a boyfriend or been kissed. It seems like NOBODY goes out in my school and if they did it was in like 3rd grade. I am just wondering if I will ever find a boyfriend in High School cuz I will be with the same people I am now. I am just afraid that I will not be able to experience young love. None of my friends have had boyfriends except in 3rd or 4th grade. I just can't stop thinking about this. Could somebody give me GREAT advice! Thank You!!!! I am 14 BTW.

First off, your 14, you have plenty of time to find someone to love, or have the find you. High School is unpredictable, and the guys in high school,not all guys, but many guys in high school, have one intention, and that is to have sex You may stumble across he small percentage of high school guys that dont want sex. However dont be to hard on yourself. If you dont have a boyfriend in high school dont worry, here is always college and after college even. Love takes time and sometimes, most all of the time, patience is key. I am 18 years old and have only had one boyfriend, I am a great person and i dont let the fact that im single still get to me (too much). there are times I think about what it would be like to have a boyfriend, but you shouldnt depend on love to be your only source of happiness. Just wait...the right guy will come along when the time is right.

Wow, that sounds all too familiar. I had the same exact problem. What worked for me is that after I turned 16 I got my license right away and got a job right away in a different town. I met so many more people through my job, and made a few new friends. I've had about four different jobs so far in the last 3 years and every one of them had atleast one really attractive guy. Actually, right now im hooking up with one of my co-workers at a job I just started a month ago. Anywho, I know your only 14 so you have a few years, but try to get out as much as you can in other town/cities.

well i was from a big town that everyone knew everyone and everyone knew who my family was so even if i did go on a date everyone knew what i did an what i didn't do an what they think i did or did not do. i moved out of there my senior year of high school an moved a few thousand miles away where we lived in a town with only 2500 or so people vs where i used to live an that was your just your high school class men i ended up finding a few boy friends in that town but only 5 years latter found a guy from a neighbor town an fell in love an we just met at a local bait shop i was buying shrimp so i can go fishing an i was going almost every day to buy shrimp even if i had no plans on going fishing just to see him a few months latter he left the bait shop an i ran into him at the mall an we were in line to buy tickets to see a movie an it was the same an he came over an asked what i was going to see an if i was alone before i knew it we gave our numbers to eachother an see eachother now almost daily an still going strong after 5 years

well when u go to high school u will mostly like be with older more good looking guys i am in the 11th grade and to be honest with u my man isnt even in school and well i guess ur answer would be yes u will find a b/f or ur first love what ever the case may be dont give up keep looking

Dont worry about having a boyfiend yet... the LAST thing you want is heart ache or an "accident" because of lust.
Graduate HS, Go to college...AWAY from your small town. Guys will flock to you then. I didn't have a boyfriend til I was 18...and I had plenty to choose from. LOL.

Ok first of all your still kinda young to expierence some young love. you still have years ahead of u to expierence that feeling trust me. You really shouldnt be eager to find someone and get into a relationship cuz life gets harder and since this would be your 1st boyfriend your going to end up getting hurt and you loose trust the more it happens. Love is pain. im pretty sure your a pretty girl and you will find someone but donr be so eager to grow up

It isn't very likely that you will be kissing and dating at 14 but once you are about 16 or so it will be as common as brushing your teeth. You will be making out like crazy once you get there. Just be patient. It's one of those things that you have to wait for like your period to start for the first time.

Never date anyone in your own school. be Friends only.
Finally, you need to join a club or a sport or something that will allow you to meet people from other schools.
People in the sky club and band nerds get laid the most;)
Most people don't find the love of their lives until they hit college. Have fun and don't be over dramatic until then.

flow in slowly, in the beginning up it may be perfect to do extra listening than speaking, and don't have self assurance absolutely everyone till you rather get to be responsive to what's happening. yet don't be scared small cities could be various exciting and frequently have various different small cities around which could be a stable place to hold close out.
