Does anyone else find it weird that my boyfriend and I have never said "I love you". We've been together 1 year 3 months. And its not like we're 18 and have never said it to anyone, I'm 21 and he's 26. Actually I have said it... sort of... I thought it'd be cute to write "I love you" on him in marker while he was sleeping then leave him a note saying "I've written something on you somewhere and you have to find it" and his only reply to this was "What brought that on? You're corny." Like come on, we've been together 1 yr 3 months. :(

The man doesn't have to be the first one to say I love you but it is probably time to take your relationship to the next level. Tell him how you feel about him and where you would like the relationship to be and ask him to be honest about it too. Don't get mad and huffy if he isn't at the same level as you but don't give him the rest of your life to get there either.

wow thats bad but if u do really love him then say it first thats tha only way u a c how he feel and age aint got nothing to do with it cuz im 18 and my b/f is 19 and we been saying we love each other since we dated for 3 months not were going on 8 months

Oh wow that is weird. Me and my girlfriend have been together less than a month and she always says that she loves me. It is the end of every email to me. You should try to get him less nervous around you. Most guys get nervous if their girlfriend tells them that she loves him. Don't worry it will get better with time.

Sounds like he's afraid of commitment. If you love him then say it to him...if he doesn't reciprocate the feelings or hesitates for a long time then maybe it's time to cut your losses. Everyone deserves to be with someone that they love and loves them in return.

Maybe he just not ready to be serious with you. i mean he want to be with you and all and get all the great benefits but doesnt want any strings attached. dont get me wrong im pretty sure he likes maybe even loves you but isnt ready to tell you cuz maybe he will think everything will change after that. guys r confusing

That's rude... he has no sense of appreciation.
He may not love you yet.... but when is what you ask?
