The "Start" button was there when I shut down the computer, but when I logged back on, it was gone. How do I restore it?

When I logged back on the start up bar was gone. I tried placing the mouse over it and dragging it back up but it wasn't there.

You may have made it very small. try to drag it to make it bigger. if that didnt help then click your windown button on your keyboard and go to your control panel and select taskbar and start menu and make sure its not on autohide

Put you mouse at the bottom of the screen until it turns into a double sided arrow. Then grab the line and pull it up.

Drag it back up. You've probably made it very small.
