I just found out that i'm pregnant (4 wks) by my ex. We broke up 8 months ago because he was "confused"...he says he thinks 90 percent of me is wonderful but the other 10 makes him worried that we are too different. Is ay BULLSHIT...he is afraid of commitment. I wanted someone who wld'nt have damn percentages & moved on & had the greatest summer ever even tho i love this guy alot. I told him I was preg & he is really compassionate and leaving the decision to me. Neither of us have ever had sex with anyone else we are both in our mid-20's too. We have careers. He has hinted that abortion would be an option because we are not togther and we both are just climbing the ladder in our careers and futures, but that if i decided to have it he wants to be 100 percent involved in every way. I love him and he says he cares for me alot...but he doesn't want to get back to me because we are different . I wld love to raise ths child togther & he says i'm very special but he is scared... advice?????

Well...honestly...whether we get back togther or not...I realize that i don't feel comfortable aborting a child's life...my child's life. I'm very glad he will be apart of the child's life as the child deserves a dad and mom. I know our lives are pretty much gonna be focused on this and so i'm a lil' sad. who wants to date a single mom....Oh well. It hurts to love him...this is were abortion seems better that way i would never have to really seee him agian and just moves on.

He's willing to help, but he won't get back into a relationship with you. Well, at least he's honest.
So- do you want the baby? Not as a way of getting him back, just want the baby for it's own sake?
That's what it boils down to- and your HONEST answer should be what determines your actions.
