A "sheltered life"? You mean you're a freak?
I think people here answered the question quite clearly, but if you want like a Dictionary definition to add to your Index, then here it is:
"grind-ing = the act of rubbing your body against another person to arouse him/her sexually"
The rest of it is XXX-rated so I couldn't give it to you (I STILL think you're too young).
I DID find another definition that I think you'll like better. It's from UrbanDictionary.com. I think it's more sexually arousing for you than the previous one:
"grinding = a repetitive task usually involved in a Massively Multiplayer Online Role playing game (MMORPG) where a character's skill's are based entirely on killing monsters to gain strengths or levels. Grinding in a sexual way means just that--grinding your genitals against eachother. If your "grinding" I would consider that usually is done when clothes/underwear are still on.

Grinding means to rub against each other in a sexual way (front to front or back to front) to a song. People do this if they don't know how to dance or want to have sex with clothes on.

Okay, the girl gets in front and pretty much rubs her butt on the guy's penis area. The guy, in plain words, just humps her. Despite what everyone says, there probably needs to be feelings when grinding because it is pretty much just sex with clothes on. <3
