Im working on this project to send teens up to the capitol to speak in front of elected officials. In order to cover all the expenses, it will take about 6k. What fundraising activites can i do or how can i approach this money obsticle in order to raise this amount by the end of march?

You will have to rely on one or more of these methods:
1. grants - trusts & public bodies;
2. donations - businesses and wealthy individuals;
3. fundraising events - sponsored walks, jumble sales etc.;
4. contributions - parents/guardians (& other stakeholders) share the cost.

Get the kids involved. Carwash. Silent auction--have each kid to donate something for the auction. Cake walk--have each kid's family provide a cake. Have the kids ask their family and friends to help sponsor them for the trip.
