..ummm maybe? for some people? it won't hurt to try it though.. the worst it probably taht you will waste your time, but it might be possible..

If you believe in a soulmate, probably not... A soulmate would likely be someone you are drawn to on sight, which is not the forte' of a relatively annonymous internet... The 'Net is a lot more practical for getting to know people, and large groups of them, quickly. It's like speed dating without the time limits (to some degree, nobody REALLY wants an e-mail relationship)...
Depends if you differentiate a good "click" with a soulmate... You can click with a lot of different people, and have a rewarding life with a lot of people... Therefore, should you abandon a particular forum in the hopes of happening across one single person in another way?

Me personally would never ever do that! I just dont understand how some people do it! I know a lot of couples have found eachother off the net but it just seems weird to me! I'd rather meet the person and get to know them face to face. People act differently when on the net. They have time to think about all the right stuff to say so they sound more appealing and then when you meet them in real life they're not really like that. And there's just the thing where you really dont know who your talking to. It could be some old creepy guy! I wouldnt go there.

I don't believe in "soulmates"
This whole romantic, delusional idea is makes people irresponsible in regard to commitment.
My wife left me, because she though she finally met her "soulmate".
She told me I hadn't done anything wrong, everything was fine, she just thought he was the right one.
He was the guy working the vegetable area at the supermarket.
It's one year later. He wasn't interested.
She's alone, having caused an incredible amount of pain & destruction.

yes it can be because if you use it to find someone, your other match will probably be using it to find someone too.
i mean other people look too so you'll find that special someone eventually

it worked for me --- i found my lady online by accident and in another country --- and it is real --- im old enough and cynical enough to realise that
