Come to Clonakilty, West Cork. It is a beautiful coastal town, with lots of beautiful beaches, the most popular of which is Inchadoney Island, which has a luxurios spa hotel over-looking the beach. Lots of fun for kids!

Courtown, Co. Wexford. Lovely beaches, plenty of arcades and amusements and the pirate treasure island pitch & putt is fantastic.

If they are young, Galway is great, small enough to walk around, seaside and different trips that don't involve much distance. Good fun for the grown ups too.
