I don't care if people have different beliefs, I care when they are trying to legislate them.

I can't imagine being naive enough to expect everyone else in the world to share my religious beliefs. It's a big world. People believe a lot of different things (and still others hold no religious beliefs at all). It doesn't threaten me in any way that other people don't share my faith.

I feel everyone has a right to make their own choice. I don't believe any of the arguing that takes place in this forum or, for that matter the entire world, is going to change what someone truly believes in.

Nope. As a Tibetan Buddhist, I understand completely that not everybody can wrap their mind around some of the concepts the Buddha taught and it would be sheer arrogance to demand or believe that everyone should.

It doesn't matter to me a bit. Why should it? I couldn't care less what anyone else believes. I am more concerned with people who don't share the established, academic view of history.

No, that is irrelevant to me. If someone wants advice, I try to frame it in a way that works for them rather than try to explain it the way I would understand it. Otherwise, we all stem from the same source and all return there. Who cares how a person believes? It makes them no less a person.

I care when people are trying to kill me or when they are subverting my children. When religion become a cult it is damaging as are radical religious sects from the middle east.

Not in the least. I believe all paths (including atheism which is simply non-belief in god) are valid.. what works for you is what works.
