...being the dumpee is different then being the dumped. Try to let this guy down easy. He still has feelings he needs to work through with himself about you. I know you have feelings too darling...but you're the dumpee...that's different. Give him all the space he needs hun,...and leave him alone. His friends will get an ear full for awhile from him about you,...but he'll eventually get over your stuff too. Don't take it personal either. We all say bad stuff when we're pissed. We all eventually do ya know! Leave him alone sweetie. Being dumped hurts really badly. Let him grieve in peace with his buddies alone. You're not one of his buddies anymore....so back off sister. You'll both be better off without each other and with time.

i say give it about a week or 2 to see how you feel about him while dating him if there still arent any real feelings there then move on there is no point in waisting time if there arent any true feelings there but if you dont give it a try then you will never know and if you dont give it a try and he gets a new girlfriend then that is when it will hit you and youll get all jealous and stuff , then you will have to kick yourself because you had your chance and didnt take it so who know it may be the best thing that has ever happended to you.

Relationships can only move up a level, they can rarely be downgraded. If you don't have the same feelings for your ex as he does for you, there is nothing you can do about it. I do suggest that you don't try to be friends with him because he may get the idea that he can change your mind if he remains friends with you. This will definitely make it hard for you. In this type of situation just end it completely; yes he will feel hurt but it will heal which wouldn't have been the case if you were to remain friends.

tell the guy to get a life if you dumped him then it is over and put your foot down on that. if he keeps is up tell a counsler or another adult that you trust

then just be friends with him... obviously you don't like him as much as he likes you, and that's probebly the reason you broke up with him in the first place.
