I would look to the Scriptures which tell me, "But even if we or an angel from heaven should proclaim to you a gospel contrary to what we proclaimed to you, let that person be condemned!" (Galatians 1:8)

This is why Islam exists. Muhammad heard from an "angel" about this new "gospel" and began his religion based on the lie of the "angel." Muhammad apparently had never read (or just ignored) Galatians.

First I would have to determine if that angel were from God. Based on the very words of Jesus Christ, not all Christian churches can be correct. He said that He is the way and the way is narrow and the gate is straight that leads to eternal life. However, there are hundreds, if not thousands of Christian churches that teach different ways. They can't all be correct.

Christ is the way. But I think that while most Christian churches profess a belief in Christ, most deny the power thereof.

I would quote this passage of Scripture to him.

Galatians 1:3 Grace be to you and peace from God the Father, and from our Lord Jesus Christ, 4 Who gave himself for our sins, that he might deliver us from this present evil world, according to the will of God and our Father: 5 To whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen. 6 I marvel that ye are so soon removed from him that called you into the grace of Christ unto another gospel: 7 Which is not another; but there be some that trouble you, and would pervert the gospel of Christ. 8 But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed.

The Apostle Paul said that if "an angel from heaven, should preach to you a gospel contrary to what we have preached to you, he is to be accursed!" And so let us say with the apostle, "angel, be accursed!"

As long as the foundation of a Christian's beliefs is that they have repented of their sins and believed on Christ Jesus as Lord and Savior the angle would not have a leg to stand on.

well since angels and Christianity ,seem to go hand in hand,...My opinion is they would cancell each other out. No Christianity, No Angel & Vice Versa.....
P.s. could be the devil in disguise......therfore,he would want you to believe this...
