yes, yes, yes, yes....and no.
for time is only an item in the dimensions we know. since science has proven that time can be sped up, slowed down and bent, it is not a true measurement, for it can be altered.
think of it this way.....
imagine living in a 2D world instead of a 3D world like you do. your life, world and all you know is a flat plain like that of a sheet of paper. but now someone in the 3rd dimension puts a finger through your world. what do you see in your 2D world?
you would see a dot in the sky that got larger and larger till it became a circle. then you would see that circle pass through your world and get smaller and smaller again till it became a dot.
in your 2D world what do you have to explain what happened? nothing, for all you know doesn't apply to the 3rd dimension.
same with God, Lord, YAHWEH, Allah......he/they/it are in another dimension than ours. science things we know of 10 dimensions so far. there could be more, there could be 1000 or even 1000000000000, we don't know yet. so for all we know, God is in the 4th, maybe the 11th, or the 3 trillionth, again, we don't know. all we can do as humans, all of us, no matter what facts we have, is GUESS, thats it, for we lack the very knowledge of seeing another dimension and then looking back at our own to realize the differences, or a pattern forming.
that is why its called "faith".

When they say God's image and likeness they don't mean PHYSICAL image. What that means is that we are rational, (in that we can tell the difference between good and evil, have free will, and are capable of abstract thought) and have immortal souls. (As opposed to animals who have mortal souls.) Animals have some rudimentary intelligence and some rudimentary emotions, but they are still enslaved by their instincts. It is only when we get our immortal souls from God that we "jump the gap" and become fully human. That is what is meant by God's image and likeness. So you are absolutely right, physical appearances don't matter because God doesn't have a physical form of His own... Jesus took on the form of a human, but that was NOT a case of humanity being designed around Jesus preexisting body.

Your question is based on one faulty presumption, in that "God" is and further, "God" made man in his own image"; this is way out there and an open question leaving more and more questions.
Your argument that time-space and it's application to "God" invite a huge debate; Enstein in E+Mc2 indicates energy and mass squared give quantum mechanics a run for their money as it shows time is perceptual in nature; this is factual as Einstein showed Mathematically that on Earth 30,000 years time would pass, yet on a ship traveling light speed, the percieved time would be MUCH Less and the aging issue would then be argumentative. It really goes on and on;
The very nature of reality can be argued and "God" dismissed. Who said "God" is a singular being, a being, or a bean sprout?
Fascinating.
You have imagination and that is more valueable than education yeah, Einstien said that too....:)
I would like to give you some answers, if I had them, You may want to think way outside the bun on this one, dismiss any religious idea you may have and seek truth.
Try going to google search, type in "Jane Roberts" or "seth speaks" and this is a wake-up call...enjoy.

Jehovah God made us in his image in the sense we have his four main Cardinal Qualities being Love Justice Wisdom & Power. God said "before me there was no God & there will continue to be no God after me, I am the only one". Even Jesus stated Jehovah is "the only true God". God is also called the King of eternity as only he has lived forever into the past having always existed.
God is a spirit (in Hebrew for human comprehension its likened to - force, blast, fire, light) who is not bound by physical laws but he has total control over these laws since he is the creator. The person of God lives in the highest heavens, this means outside & beyond our physical Universe, even King Solomon said "even the heavens cannot contain you".
God is full of dynamic energy, he names the stars & knows there number, not one of them is missing. From God`s vantage point in the heavens he sees all creation & nothing is hidden from his sight this is by means of his holy spirit that extends from him everywhere, he even reads our hearts searching for the righteous, he even counts our hair (knows us intimately)
God is the Great time Keeper who lives forever into the past & future, he is a spirit, flesh & blood cannot inherit the Kingdom of God. To him a thousand years is but a day. He also sees lateral time. He sees the future as easy as looking into the past but only if he needs to. He is above time & space (not effected by it because he is incorruptible) because he is a spirit not a physical force in any nature but God observes time because he is the Great time keeper.

lol. "In the image of God" means we can possess divine attributes, such as mercy, kindness, love, justice, etc. God does not have a body, so we cannot physically be in the image of God. Extraterrestrials are also children of God and made in His image.
