Calm down- it's okay. If you have medicine to help regulate your blood sugar levels- it sounds like you are eating more out of panic than anything.
It's understandable- and it happens alot.
Just remember- you have your meds- which go a long way. The rest of it is up to you. That doesn't mean gorging yourself. It means- a healthy and effective diet.
Try to avoid refined sugars- eat alot of fruit and fruit juice. Best thing in the world. And if you need a pick me up- keep some of those snack sized applesauce containers. If you are really concerned about eating, and doing it in a way that will help control your condition- then perhaps you should ask your doctor to recommend a dietician.
So, don't worry- there are tons of things you can do- no need to panic. Just know what the warning signs of a blood sugar drop are, know where some emergency goods are at, and know what you are putting in your body.
(oh and another tip- most drug stores sell Sucrose tablets. They are like sweet tarts almost- if you feel a sudden drop, or just aren't near anything else- those work wonders.)

There is no medication that I know of to help you with hypoglycemic.
I am wondering how much you know about hypoglycemia.
Please don't eat sugar or refined foods.
If you get things under control you can eat every two to three hours. You don't need to eat large amounts of food to balance your blood sugar.
Sugars burn quickly and cause you to produce too much insulin then you get low blood sugar.
Eat foods that digest slower.....like protien. You need to watch your charbohydrates. For instance you can have an orange, but the natural sugars will burn up quickly. Best to add a handfull of almonds or a chunk of cheese and eat that. You need to balance your diet so you don't have insulin and blood sugar problems.
Vegtables and protien are healthy for you. Don't think you need sugar to keep up your sugars.
I would recommend that you ask your doctor to see a nutrituioest to help you with your diet if you can't control your diet problems.
Here is an example of a day.......
Breakfast
Portion of non sugar cereal with milk.
Hard boiled egg
Snack
five almonds
half an apple
Lunch
Salad with low fat, no sugar added dressing
1/2 breast of cold chicken on your salad.
1/2 apple
Snack
One string cheese
1/2 orange
Later snack
1/2 orange
1 teaspoon peanutbutter
Dinner
Good sized serving of meat
1/2 a potato - sour cream and butter
large portion of cooked green vegtable
Snack
Low fat yogert
Carrots
Later snack
Half cup of milk
1/4 th grahm cracker
half cup of cottage cheese
If you wake up during the night to go to the bathroom, eat two salteen crackers.
Keep on hand a tupperwear full of cut vegtables. Low Fat dressing to dip dressings in. Add some cottage cheese to the dressing to increase protien. Snack on this whenever you want to.
________
This is just an example. I am not a professional nor is anyone else here on Yahoo answers. If you can't balance your diet then get your doctor to help you with your diet

I'm assuming that you are NOT diabetic on medication.
Patients who get precipitous drops in sugar levels after food certainly occur. In the past this was commonest in patients who had had ulcer surgery. This is rare now, and I assume you are not in that group either.
There is no specific drug designed for non diabetics with hypo problems, and the hypo is not enough generally to cause loss of consciousness, though it can be unpleasant with headache, dizziness, faintness and sometimes a level of confusion. All I can suggest is carry glucose sweets with you, to take quickly if you feel it coming on.
You should see your GP for a general check up. It is important not to miss rarities. One of these is patients with insulinomas. Small lesions in the pancreas which secrete high levels of insulin. These are sometimes very difficult to diagnose and find and are sometimes missed.

I have hypoglycemia and there is very little the doctor can do. The best thing to do is to try to keep things that are very high in NATURAL sugars. Natural sugars last longer than synthetic ones. Try eating foods like grapes and apples. They are very high in natural sugar and will last longer. Unless you have a very serious case, you won't need to eat once an hour. Try eating every three hours, and in between eating suck on hard candies like peppermints to keep your sugars up.
Good luck and if you have any other questions about hypoglycemia, feel free to contact me.

I think I answered your other question on hypoglycaemic.
Try lucozade or sucking glucose sweets.
Have some carbohydrates as they convert into a slow release glucose.
If it is staying low get yourself to a&e pronto, you may need a glucose drip until the cause is identified.
