Mommy to Holly 14, Nicholas 11, Alisha 8 (and autistic), Brian 5, Kaylee 2 1/2 and 36 weeks with (grand total here) number 6. Mine fight too but we try to be as fair with them as possible to cut down on petty jealousy meltdowns...You don't say how old you are but I have found that with age comes greater patience...I'm almost 36 and I handle more kids better now than I did when I was 24 and had just 2...

I have 7 kids--mostly grown now. I had the first 5 in 6 years. I was always busy (obviously).
I recall going to the park a lot. I suggest you take the last 2 to the park for several hours while Dad has the 2 older ones on the weekends is what I would do.
Hunter is probably imitating your Cooper and Caden and then Damien is falling in line as he gets older.
I would not turn to tv or computer games as a babysitter. That just revs kids up. I haven't had a tv in 20 years, but you probably do have one. So too late to get rid of it. But I wouldn't let them watch tv or play computer games longer than 1 hour a day. the idea is to get them outside running around to wear them out so they are too tired to pick on each other.
Do you have them in organized sports? My cousin's daughter has 8 kids, and they are at the playground on weekends non-stop with different sons' baseball games. Her kids are just milder--they don't fight much.
They live on a lot of farmland, though, in a small town so that allows them to be outside alot.
At bedtime I would tell the 2 older ones they can "sleep or read". Most kids would rather do anything than sleep. If you went to the public library and got a stack (like 10) books on each child's reading level, they will have those to read at night until they fall asleep. Getting in recreational reading in this sneaky way will reap rewards in school. I doubt in your busy house that you could hand them a book like I did during the day when mine were younger and have them lounging around reading books like my kids did, but I had girl, boy, girl, boy, girl then girl, boy.
Your boys are probably in competition for your attention. The books say to give each child undivided attention like at least twice a month for a few hours. Try doing that, especially for the older 2. If you can develop a close bond with them, they will calm down faster when you ask them too. Also, you can find out what they like and enroll them in whatever it is, where they can meet some friends to hang out with and hopefully reduce the interaction at home some.
Why not do an Internet search to see what other parenting advice there is?

Yes I also have 4. 3 boys, 1 girl ages 12, 10, 7 & 4. My boys fight, but eventually they will grow out of it (hopefully!) my problem with them though is that the older ones teach the younger ones some stuff they definitley shouldn't know about... (swears, the middle finger etc) then again I guess that happens with older siblings in general, doesn't matter how many you have!

YES I have four!
2 boys 10 + 8
2 girls 7 + 1.
The 3 oldest fight like crazy and it's driving me UP THE WALL. But when it comes to the baby, she can do NO wrong! She can pull them to bits and they love it! My girl (7) fights like a boy, she can make the eldest (10) cry and she's got a stunning right hook.
But outside the home they stick up for each other and God help anyone who starts on one of them. They'll ALL pile in and when they get home, they all HATE each other again!
MADNESS!
