I'm 30 an my boyfriend is 35. We have been together for three years. We have a fantastic realtionship and we get along great. Thursday, after finishing up a wonderful round of sex, I was ready for round two. My boyfriend said that he wasn't up to it just yet. I started begging and whining for more. He told me that he had to wait awhile, that he wasn't 22 years old. We went out and seen a play and it was late when we got home so I never got round two.
Two days later, I was joking and I said that I was really hyper and in the mood for some loving. I said that I would take care of him and when I was finished he'd be whining about him not being 22 anymore and this made him mad. He said something like I was being insensitive and this was embarrassing to him.
I didn't mean to hurt him and I love him very much. He really satifies me and I love having sex with him. I don't want him to think that he isn't doing a good job.

This happens to all guys who are in a relationship. We sometimes don't feel like having sex as much as the female half does. Normally guys force themselves to have sex despite their mood, since we have been trained from a young age to take what we can get whenever it's available.
He'll be in the mood in a day or two. Sometimes it's a weekly cycle.
Just remember, it isn't that he isn't attracted to you. He cares alot about you and is probably being defensive because he thinks you're mad at him about something that is his own fault.

Look you do have to realize that at 30 women reach their sexual peak wheras guys are on the decline medically speaking. Throwing something like that in his face could affect him more than just on the surface. If he feels at all that he is not pleasing you it could turn into performance anxiety. As long as he gets it back up just be cool he's right it does take a bit longer for older guys to acheive a second erection sometimes but if you comment about how he's not getting up quick enough that's not cool. I'm 30 myself and although I don't have that pronblem it has happened before and trust me it can make a man feel really bad to think that he may not be pleasing his girl. Just give him time and in the meantime do something else that could help him get aroused again more quicker. What ever you do don't down him for things that go on in the bedroom that's not cool at all. Good luck

Baby, your statement about his not being 22 years old should not ever be mentioned again. Guys love sex as much as you do but are very very sensitive about their performance as well as their equipment. Comments about both of these should be restricted to the girls talk outside of the guys hearing range.
I don't think you need to say anything about being in a hyper mood but instead just show him by being physically romantic with him--he will get the idea. The old saying, you catch more flies with honey definitely applies in this situation.

Your man might be going thru mid-life crisis and sees that sex isn't everything right now. You need to sit down with him and ask why is he always referring to being not 22 year old anymore, furthermore keep in mind your in your "prime of age" and he needs to understand that you want "second and thirds" sometime trust me he'll come around okay!
