My favorite is Iolanthe. My Gilbert and Sullivan production did H.M.S Pinafore last year. That's a good one too.

Pirates of Penzance and HMS Pinafore are probably tied for most popular and most commonly performed. I'd go with Pirates because I performed in it once and have seen it twice on stage, and the movie several times. I know most of it by heart. It's pretty enduring. :)

I think The Mikado is probably my favorite. I'm in tech week for a production of The Gondoliers right now. It's a gorgeous show, but I'm ready for it to be done!!!

Pirates of penzance and then The Mikado =] i love pirates of Penzance though, it's so funny and an opera. How great. Although the mikado is good too.
