Choices are: Denny Hamlin, JJ Yeley, David Stremme, Reed Sorenson, Martin Truex Jr., and David Gilliland
Explain your response, just blurting out a driver's name isn't persuasive.
And also, a follow-up question, can David Ragan continue his decent start in the 6 car and blow everyone away for the Rookie of the Year award? Or will somebody else rise up and take the award this year? Explain

Gililand is NOT a rookie
he ran 15 races last year and is inelgible for the award
can't believe that people are still unaware of that.

Well so far it looks like Denny Hamlin and Martin Truex Jr. Denny Hamlin had a great year last year so it looks like it is going to be a hard year for him. J.J. Yeley looks like he is getting off on a good start. Reed Sorenson is with Chip Ganassi and the engines are not fairin so well. He had a good 1st race but the 2nd was bad. I like all of these drivers too. David Stremme is have a good start for the season so far. David Gilliland well he is doin good so far. He didn't run a full season so I guess he won't have a hard sophomore year.
For David Ragan I think he is going to have an ok year to keep it up maybe hard. It might just be beginners luck. I think it will be a close rookie battle between Juan Pablo Montoya and David Ragan. Cause both of them are doing ok.
Sorry for my spelling people have been complaining about it. It drives me crazy to here them complain. If I remember to use spell check it will be good but I don't always remember so please do complain. I am just a really bad speller.

This should be a bad year for all these drivers. but i feel...
Denny Hamlin he had two good of a year last year to be topped this year. my feelings is he will miss the chase maybe 13-15 in points at the cut off race.
also how long has Martin Truex Jr been a rookie i remember him racing in 2004???
David Ragan have a proven team and is the odds on favorite to win RofY but the Juan Pablo Montoya would be his best competition

I would probably be considered an fool to say this but Denny Hamlin is going to be bad. Everyone liked Carl Edwards going into his 2nd year and that didn't do too great, on neither side and he would have ran away with the Rookie class had he not ran those extra few races over the limit of 7. Denny is the first legal rookie to make the Chase-Edwards made it but he wasn't a legal rookie- and for the next year to year and a half, I think that's all he is going to be known for. But the rookie that won't have a slump, I believe is MTJr. He has had good cars for a long time now and it hasn't paid off but it will. Just that one race and it is on for that team.
None of the rookies this year is not worthy in their racing skills but I believe Regan will be the best as he has the best equipment.

I guess the only correct guess to this would be Hamlin. the other guys had decent years on and off but werent as consistent as Hamlin. If he doesnt finish in the top 12 and then people would consider it a slump. Cant even really call it a slump. So much has to do with luck and having a good car. They are all great drivers but lady luck needs to be on your side as well to make it to the chase.
Too early to tell as far as who the rookie of the year will be. Ragan is looking tough though. Montoya doesnt impress me at all in a stock car..who knows though, it can be turned around in one week.
By the way, Truex ran a couple races in 04, a few more in 05 such as the Brickyard, but last year was his first full schedule and was considered a rookie.

I think that Martin Truex Jr will get by the sophmore slump. Even though there have only been two races so far, he hasn't been able to catch a break. It's not like he can't race as he is a great racer, it's just that he gets caught up in mess that he can't control.
After Sunday's race you could tell that Martin was pissed off. I believe that his contract with DEI was only for three years which means that after the 2008 season he will be a "free agent" and most likely will be looking for a ride with another team.
And I for one don't blame Truex for wanting to leave DEI. Theresa and the people who run DEI need to step it up because Dale Jr and Martin deserve way better than what they are getting.

Denny Hamlin will have a hard time living up to his dream rookie season...but will still be good this year...Truex is going to have a bad year...might lose his ride, if Paul Menard keeps driving like he does, and his Daddy keeps paying for his ticket with DEI, Truex will be out of a job.
Ragan's got a championship car, a great crew and the best owner...if he keeps it clean and on the track the top 12 is not out of line.

Hamlin was so good that anything he does will be considered a slump. He hasn't done so well this year, only finishing in the middle of the pack, but the year is young.
I think Yeley and Gillliland are actually doing better this year. I've been impressed at how Gilliland qualified.
As for the rest...well, you have to have done okay your freshman year to have a sophomore slump.

Right now I think it is going to be Reed. He has had the worst luck already at both tracks and looking at Jamie and Casey's Sophomore seasons it is a Ganassi norm for that to happen. Also David Gilliland wasn't in the chase for rookie of the season because he started to late, but since he drove to many races last year he can't go for it this year but is still considered a rookie this year. Go figure. But I am going with Stremme and Reed because of Ganassi's track record.

It may be a draw right now between Hamlin and Truex.
These 2 have had a hard time so far this season. They have had their good moments but they need to settle down and run steady. But both are expected to be top10 drivers this year.
I haven't looked at this years rookie crop.

I hate to assert it yet Flacco would have the "hunch". the reason of the rates is by technique of the fact he didnt extremely have a super 365 days. yea they made the play offs yet once you think of flacco is the reason, do your self a prefer, awaken and look into his stats. TD int ratio wasnt super. Yards replace into ok, comp % replace into sup par. The group replace into extremely carried on thier defence in case you wanna comprehend the reality. Eddie Royal according to danger have a "hunch" because of the fact now hell be predicted to post the numbers he did final 365 days, and the dependence on him to over achive would be a great deal extra advantageous if brandon marshall leaves the group. Hell could p.c.. up the #a million spot and that i dont comprehend if hes THAT good. so some distance as succes is going ive have been given to assert brian orakpo would have a in a position 365 days. Albert Haynesworth contained in the direction of the skins line of defense will tension communities to double him, meaning orakpo would be singled for a super sort of the sport. the guy has the aptitude to have double digit sacks in his rookie 365 days. additionally seek for mark sanchez to have a great 365 days motives a million the jets have a great offensive line. 2 leon washington is a super reciving returned 3 the jets have a super sort of all around expertise on the group on the two sides of the ball. 4 the expectancies arent extreamly intense the only subject he has going against him are the reality that the jets dont have lots of a #a million WR in Jericho cochery. seek for them to make a signning in the previous the season starts.
