Once while at a Church I heard someone say that if you want to definitely go to Heaven you must profoundly believe God exists, then you have to regret every wrong thing you did when you were alive and puff, you find yourself up there, living a whole new life of pleasure and fun abreast of Him. On the other hand, he also avouched that those who don't believe in God won't eventually make it to Heaven, even if they were great ppl in their past lives. Summarizing: No matter how atrocious the things I did on earth may be; I'll go to Heaven so long as I believe in God. But there's no way I can go to Heaven in spite of being such a cool person who did nearly everything right in his life just because I didn't put my faith in God. How fair is it?

Sorry to hear that you've been misinformed! Don't take it to heart....many are led astray.

True, Jesus did say that "no-one comes to the Father except through me" (JN 14:6)....however, he did not say that it is done through BELIEF IN him!

We Catholics believe that the merits of Jesus' death and resurrection are applied to others who, for whatever reason never "knew" (implying a deeper meaning of knowing) Jesus.

After all, Jesus cured many others THROUGH the prayers of others:

Let's look at the Gospels:

1. The cure of the Centurion's servant -- LK 7:1-10; the centurion was definitely Roman -- not Jewish. He did have faith that Jesus could heal his servant -- but Jesus never so much as asked the Centurion himself to make a profession of faith as a condition for being healed.

2. Likewise in LK 7:11-17: The poor widow's son had died -- her only child. Jesus did not ask the woman for a confession of faith first.

3. Se also JN 4:46-54 -- Jesus healed the royal official's son -- again, without asking for a confession of faith as a prerequisite.

Now if Jesus can heal these THROUGH the requests/faith of OTHERS (we call this intercessory prayer), can't Jesus also allow you into heaven for your good deeds coupled with the merits of his own Precious Body and Blood?

Who knows.....maybe MY prayers will bring you to heaven.....maybe YOUR good deeds will bring me there!!! :)

Hell is full of good decent people who thought that all you that all you have to do is believe. It is a very sad fact!! The Bible says that to enter into His Kingdom St. John 3:5 we must be born again!! this isn't an option!! ST. Peter preached it on the Day of Pentecost Acts 2:38. Follow this, and when you come up out of that water, you will be amazed of how much sin actually weighed!! Then He will fill you with His Spirit Acts 2:4 10:45-46, 19:6, and St.Mark 16:17 will tell you some of what the Holy Ghost will do for besides the power to overcome any sinful behaviors that may of developed over the years. This is the Ultimate High in our lives. Mine lasted for days!! Don't let anyone try to reason you out of your miracle!! This is what God says, anything else is a perversion!!

The Right to Enter Paradise

Death is inevitable. The thief on the cross knew when his would occur, but we can not predict our own. After his death, the crucified criminal went to live in paradise with Jesus. Some of us will also live eternally in God's presence. But others will experience everlasting torment, forever separated from Him.
If we receive Jesus as our Savior, our penalty for sin is paid. We are adopted into God's family, and Heaven is our eternal home. If we reject Jesus, we remain alienated from the Lord and under condemnation for our sin. We are destined to experience eternal judgment. God won't accept any of man's excuses because there is no acceptable defense for unbelief. (Acts 4:12)
Become part of God's family today. Acknowledge your sinfulness, and express your faith in these words:
"God, I have sinned against You. (Romans 3:23) I've followed my own way and refused to give You the right to rule in my life. (Romans 3:10-12) I recognize I am separated from You and cannot rescue myself. I do believe that Jesus Christ is Your Son. I accept the truth of the Scriptures? that His death on the cross paid my sin-debt in full. (1 Corinthians 15:3-4) And I ask You to forgive me of my sins. (1 John 1:9) By faith, I receive You, Lord Jesus, as my personal Savior from this moment on."
If you just spoke those words to God, then, like the thief on the cross, you have received salvation? a gift of God's grace. The heavenly Father welcomes every person who comes to Him through His Son, regardless of background, age, or current situation. Through Jesus, the right to enter paradise is yours!

It's not just about believing in God, even satan and his demons believe in God and they tremble at His voice. You must confess your sins and ask the Lord Jesus for forgiveness. You must take up your cross and follow Him.
It's not just about entering into Heaven, it's about a personal relationship with God and getting to know who God is. This is His will for us, to worship Him and to enter into eternal rest with Him. I pray that you find Him and come to accept Jesus as your Lord and Savior!

No way, thats no true, believer or no you go to heaven for your actings, no for your faith. God is no unfair at all, and he doesnt mixes personal bussisnes and salvation.

In fact, on what i was reading the other day, it is worst to offend a man, than having idols :O

You have never lied? Never held anger in your heart, never looked at a woman and wanted her? Wow you are a saint!!! I have done and do these things with regularity. Since giving myself to Jesus I see the sin and reject it all through His power. I haven't the will power to be a christian man I need God to do it for me. And for the most part My will bends to serve Him. I slip and He forgives. But unless your are as pure as He is you can't get to Heaven. Since I am in His righteousness and not mine I no longer worry about failing. I am free to live for Him now and I love being a man that walks in His footsteps... Jim

How fair is it? I'd say perfectly fair. If Heaven depended on how good you were how would you measure the standard? By Mother Theresa's? You'd never make it. How about Billy Graham? Or Bill Clinton? Or Dahmer? God's only requirement is that we place our faith in What Christ did on the Cross. Too easy? Thank God because I am a sinner saved by grace and I am far from being able to make it on my own merit!

Your summary is faulty, but I can say that as far as fair goes, God sent his only begotten son to die for your sins. How fair is it that people deny him, when he died an agonizing death for your sins?
Just a thought, but I'm pretty sure fair isn't in the job description for God.. Just is correct, but God is way beyond fair.

The only way to get into heaven is by asking Jesus to forgive your sins and come into your heart. (that won't happen if you don't believe) And He writes your name in the book of Life.

Jesus - Y'SHUAH, which MEANS SALVATION - died on the cross
and shed His BLOOD in your place and in mine as payment for EVERY single sin that we would ever commit and it is only by put-ting our faith in Him and what He has done for us that we can ever
be saved.

Read the gospel of John in particular, as well as Romans.

John 3:36 - John 8:24 - John 14:6 - John 5:24 - John 14:6 -

Matt.7:13,14, - II Cor. 5:21 - Rom. 5:8, 12 - Acts 4-12 -

Romans 3:10-18 -- Isaiah 53 - Romans 3:25 - Rom, 5:9 -

Hebrews 9:22 - Lev. 17:11 - Exodus 12:13 - Romans 1. -

Romans 1O:9, 1O.

Ask yourself.....Just how many of the ten commandments have you been able to keep PERFECTLY for all of your life....not only in deed but in thought as well... Only God's Son has lived a totally
sinless and perfect life and only He was qualified to give His life as a ransom for all of us.
"Barabus" was the type of all of us....He went free while Y'shua died in his place, just as He died for ALL of us....

It is only through the BLOOD of Y'shua that you -- anyone - can be made acceptable and righteous before God and without it, there is NO remission of sin!!!

Here is a number for you to call if you would like to know more
on this and I truly hope that you will call. You sound like you really want to know....and I hope that you do.

Please know that God loves you so very much and He is NOT willing for you to perish.

Because God does NOT automatically decide for each and every
person that they will believe and go to heaven, even when that is what He wants to see happen, each of us has to make that choice to receive Jesus as our personal Savior while we are here on this earth. God does NOT take ANYBODY'S free will from them!!!
Without Jesus (Y'shua) coming to earth and giving His life as a ransom for us, we would ALL be condemned to hell and we would
not have the choice to opt out -- satan would destroy us all and take us all to hell forever out of his hatred and revenge and jealousy towards God -- You know the saying, Hell hath no fury...
It started with satan.
But God is not like satan. He LOVES you and He wants you to be
his blood-bought child forever and be with Him forever, but, as I said, He will NOT take your free will or your choice from you.
God made His will known when He sent His Son and His Son died
for us on the cross.
Now it's YOUR turn to respond to His GIFT of mercy and grace.
You need to RECEIVE IT as your own by praying to Y'shua and asking Him to save you.

It's up to you....

HEAVEN. . . . OR NO HEAVEN?????
