Please, calm yourself down and keep your head level. You'll be doing more harm than good if you don't.
Call the vet. Explain the situation, and take him in ASAP. Blood in stools is not a good sign, and always warrants a sudden and emergency visit to the local vet. Do not wait for an appointment, do not wait for tommorow.

Actually i just had the same problem with my 4 1/2 month old puppy. So i called a vet and they told me to feed it plain food such as white rice, skinless boneless chicken and or plain yogurt no flavor. And you should have him tested for HGE, also colon perisites. Although for my puppy it turned out to be the steak bone she had chewed on the night before. Oh and also dont feed for 12-24 hours and if the poop doesnt change then give it the plain food. But you should definatly should have the poop checked to make sure there are no perisites.
Okie Dokie,

P.S. Good Luck?!? My puppy is a mix of lab and weimaraner but she looks lab andis yellow.

It appears like a visit to the vet is so as rather if the dogs is listless, or extremely dragging around. Smaller dogs don't have the reserve that a greater dogs has, so whilst it would not consume or drink, it could dehydrate very quickly, which will make him even sicker. The dogs would have eaten something he don't have, or he would have something incorrect internally, like a tumor or another subject. save offering him water on a typical foundation, and if he would not advance in some hours, then take him directly to the vet. good good fortune.

When I had the same problem this is what my vet told me:
Its simply from straining. The doggy is pushing to hard, its not "healthy" but the dog is perfectly fine.
However there are a lot of other things that could be involved. You will need to take the dog to the vet with a sample of its stool.

i work for a vet. dragging her bottom could mean a number of things. her anal glands could be full and need expressing. (lots of groomers will do this and it is not really expensive) or the vet can do this. we charge $11 to do this. or she could have worms or coccidia (an intestinal parasite). just take a sample to the vet and ask for a fecal to be done on it. this can determine what the problem is.

Take him to the vet. It sounds like he has some kind of worms. Blood in the stool is a major sign. Take him in tomorrow.
