i am 16 and 2 years ago i went out with this 18 year old, we broke up probably because i was too immature then and now he is in college. he IMed me recently and apologized for dumping me- does this mean anything? i still really like him and want him back. how do i go about doing this

It means that he felt bad about dumping you and that he is finally growing up. However, being that you're sixteen and he's in college, I don't think a relationship will work out. You two are in two different stations in life right now and he's on the threshold of being an adult and independent; he'll be talking academia and going drinking in which you cannot. I'd say find a cutie your own age so you two will be better able to relate to each other.

i take it your still in hs! so i think you need to take things slow with this guy because a lot of guys his age are still pretty immature...being a 20 yr old girl i understand this...(thats why i date older men lol) but just ask him how things are and get to know him again...he might just be feeling bad that he hurt you...make sure u see what his intentions are before you put your heart out there again
