The colors for my January wedding were royal blue, cornflower blue, white and silver. It looked really stunning with the different shades of blue with white and silver to coordinate.

For your colors you could try something like periwinkle (a light shade of purple; but looks a little like purple with a hint of blue), silver and white with touches of red.If this is not pleasing, just go with purple, silver and white but you wear like a red garter especially for him.

Good luck!!

My sister did purple and silver. It was pretty. Red would look nice with silver as well (better with gold). What about a moroon (in between red and purple) and silver as a comprimise? In the end most guys don't care about the colours. I am doing Celedon green, chapagne, hints of pink and a touch of gold. I really wanted something I had not seen done. Congrats and best wishes.

Why do you need silver? Why not consider first what colors look best on the bridesmaids? You won't be wearing the color, they will. And no matter how much you love purple or he loves red, if it doesn't look good on the bridesmaids, then it isn't the right color for your wedding.

Our wedding colours, for a July wedding, were teal, pink, yellow and lilac. Fun to decorate with, etc. and really bright and pretty.
You can have purple, red and silver - talk about wild!
