L. Ron Hubbard was not a particularly spiritual or ethical person. Did he found the perfect cult for those who believe they are more intelligent or better than everybody else?

No. Those are White People. Listen, lady. People adopt weird things in life. Some people collect stamps. Some people juggle swords. Some grasp at religions or other rule systems. Some see pictures of Jesus in burnt toast. I don't care for Scientologists, either, but what's your point?

L.Ron Hubbard was not just a successful writer of fiction.
To make the statement you made about him regarding his ethics and spirituality it's obvious, to me anyway, that you know absolutely nothing about the man.

The positioning of this man as nothing more than a "science fiction author" is a deliberate attempt by some with vested interests, to try and undermine his extensive body of work in the humanitarian and spiritual fields and the results and benefit of this work for mankind.

I personally don't care if you choose to "buy" this false propaganda about him, but I definitely care that you become a little more aware that that's what you have done and are contributing to.

You can check out www.lronhubbard.org if you care to know the facts about him. Nobody has a monopoly on knowledge or intelligence, but you do have to do more than just listen to gain it..... you have to actually LOOK for yourself.

no he founded the perfect scam for rubes of lower intelligence than anyone else. People who came into money quickly and don't really have an idea of the value of money.

hence many scientologists are actors.

it was a scam.

That is just proof there are enough stupid people out there to believe anything. Only an idiot like Tom Cruise would be a scientologist.

They are just a bunch of lost souls looking for something to make them feel better. The purpose of chrisianity is NOT to make us feel good or to get us what we want or to make us happy, the purpose is to worship God and spread the news of repentance and faith. Scientologists worship the creation not the creator....a bunch of nuts which is why so many hollyweirds follow it.

I think most of us would agree, except scientologist of course, that any religion using aliens as part of the story can't be too credible

He was, at best, a third rate hack sci-fi author too.
And dead crazy to boot.

It is a "religion" that fits a lifestyle that would otherwise be considered immoral.
