What is the big deal about being held after sex? Why do all women seem to want it, and all men seem to regard it as their unpleasant duty? Men, why don't you like it, and women, why do you want it?
Just curious. Thanks everyone.

For men it all depends on the women...Chances are if he doesnt want to hold you then he isn't that interested in you. That's a fact. Every women that I really liked I would enjoy cuddling with after sex. If I were just with them for the sex then I didn't like to cuddle. It's really that simple

Well it is a little cold and unfeeling if the man just rolls off and farts and goes back to sleep isn't it? LOL

Seriously I think it is about women not wanting to feel like they are just being used for sex and that the feelings were genuine of love. I don't mind doing it at all and in fact do so happily.

I'm a man, I find holding on to someone after sex and feeling their racing pulse to be the best part of the thing. The other part I can pretty much do alone with my hands if I wanted to but the intimacy of holding someone after sharing an orgasm is something I can't possibly duplicate.

Personally it's all good with me if she wants it or not. If you are really in tune with a female then I don't see what the problem is. It seems that the ones that don't want to hold a girl after sex may not be really into that girl like he says.

a guy feels more vunerable after sex so he need to recoup the same with a woman but in her case she want to be held we may not think it but once we r vunerable we do what comes natural sometimes going to sleep is part of it as men get tired as when men finish they lose energy in it exercise and that what we let out of our private part is an energy source too.

It depends what your doing - if you've just made love then a close snuggle is just right. If you've just fu*ked someone for the fun of it then it's not easy to do the cuddle thing. It all depends on how much emotion is involved between the 2 people.

I don't think men are actually against holding or being held...I think they are against staying awake. It is a part of human male physiology that we need to sleep after orgasm to prepare for the next time.

when you get a concrete answer for this question send me a singing telegram! i have puzzled over this a lifetime.personally i very much dislike someone breathing in my face, and fail to see why the way a couple lays in bed has any reflection on the shared affection they feel for each other.i am a very lucky man because my wife of many years feels the same way.

If you are a man you want to get like 50 feet away from the worman you just porked. If you are a woman you want to be held cause you want to know that it means something to be that close to someone. Its a wonder that we are still in the process of overpopulating planet earth.

Guess it's all due to Men are from Mars, Women are from Venus!!

Woman are usually more of the feeling sort of person and men are raised to do it and snore!!

Might be a genetic thing, who knows for sure?? If you want to cuddle then ask, if not, snore!!

A refill on my drink and a smoke for me, thanks!!
