Would a girl feel better if guys exchanged cell phone number than home phone numbers? Is it basically the same thing or maybe one is more secure method of communication?

With a cell phone, it is harder (though not impossible) to find out where you live, if he turns out to be a nutcase.

Alot people would prefer cell phones because you have it on you at all times. And that the major commutation these days. It not about hiding from your mate. That's unless you are "creeping", but everybody has cell phones.

Hmmmmmmmmm! What you to scared to give her the home digits and then let her have the cellphone number.
Bottom line a cellphone number make you seem like you are hiding a wife and 7 kids at home.

I always prefer them to have my home # - that way they can't track me down every minute of the day until I feel comfortable about what they want in a relationship (horn dog or a guy that honestly wants a gf).

If shes like a teen and lives with her parents i'd say cell
but if she has her own place i'd say home
