There are multiple reasons why your dog may have blood in his stool. Since your pup is young, and is probably not fully vaccinated, parvo is a major concern. It may also be hemorrhagic gastroenteritis, or HGE. Both of these problems are treatable but require long stays at the vet and constant monitoring as well as antibiotics and fluid therapy. If your puppy looks lethargic or dumpy, begins vomiting or any other concerns, take him to a vet immediately. Untreated, both of these diseases are fatal.
It may be that he is passing the load of worms as well. I sometimes see a small amount of blood in my foster cats' stool post-worming. By small, I mean a drop or two. If your pup has any more than that, you should be concerned and see a vet immediately. Not only can animals lose blood through their gastrointestinal tract, they can also lose important proteins as well, leading to edema, hypovolemia, and possible shock.
Your pup also may have ingested something. Do you have rat poison in your house? If so, make sure that your pet doesn't have any evident bruising, nosebleeds or weakeness.
If your pet seems healthy and happy, just make a vet appointment for tomorrow, and bring in a stool sample with you. Taking care of a potential problem now will save you money and your pet pain and suffering. If he exhibits any of the symptoms listed, go to an emergency vet now.
Good luck with your puppy-you obviously care about him very much.

If the blood is only after the worming then it could be just the worms desolving it is not unusual for pups to have blood in there stools. if he gets gammy eyes as well and goes off his food then could be start of parvo if he happy and lively then i would think just the worms causing this give him couple of weeks then worm again as pups r riddled with worms when little. good luck and enjoy him

Have you had him vaccinated? Is he allowed out in your garden? He should be kept indoors until he is fully vaccinated. Parvo virus is particularly nasty and can kill pups if not caught early enough. Parvo has a smell to it that is significant and once smelled you will know it instantly....however, you mention your puppy has blood in his stools and not that he has diahorrea which might lead to something else....you need to take him to the vet to just get a check over and put your mind at rest sooner rather than later....good luck

My Puppy had the same. I took him to the vet and he was put on a course of antibiotics which did the trick.

You need to take your pup to a vet. Bloody stools are not normal, and they are not good signs.
