every time me and my mom make carmel apples the carmel sticks but once we set it down it falls right off the apple

Sounds like it's not thick enough. I've had the same problem. What I do is let it cool a little bit before I dip the apples in. You have to work fast, but it works.

Wash the apples really good -- if you leave the coating on them (to preserve the apples during shipping), the caramel will just slip off. I also dip & swirl mine to let them 'set' a little bit before sitting them on the tray.

once u dip the apple in the caremel hold it n twist it in circular motion slowly so that the caremal stars getting air n cools down faster do it for about 30 seconds then place down to cool it should work like a charm good luck

Maybe the carmel is waterer or it could be that the carmel is rich

Wash your apples better...and rub them dry. This should help remove the waxy layer to help the caramel stick.
