part of being anorexic is thinking you are fat when you are underweight. she will not laugh to herself. you should tell her. she obviously suspects something is up anyways.

If you eat enough, then by defition you are not anorexic. Anorexia specifically means depriving yourself of needed food. Furthermore, note that most (not all) anorexics do not recognize their behavior patterns as a disorder--most anorexics believe that they are legitimately doing something necessary to lose weight (that they really don't need to lose).
But that doesn't mean you don't have a problem. Don't think I'm trying to discount your feelings. Maybe it just belongs in different terms. Don't try to give a scientific name to your concerns. Tell your therapist about what you do, how you feel, how you want to feel, how you perceive your own actions, etc. Then you and your therapist can concentrate on whatever is actually needed/desired to be changed. You may also want to talk to a nutritionist to talk about the normal amounts of calories, nutrients, etc. needed for someone of your size and weight.

Determine and find out your BMI - body mass index - by searching on google or at www.bbc.co.uk. you need to know your current weight and your height. this determines whether or not you are overweight/underweight for your height.
If your therapist is asking if you eat enough, surely she thinks you are underweight? and she won't laugh at you, if she DOES - get her sacked for inappropriate behaviour.
If you really think you have developed anorexia but aren't underweight, you are EDNOS - eating disorder not otherwise specified, which means you have an eating disorder but don't fit into that category. E.G - anorexics are underweight but eat very little and exercise excessively - but you eat very little and exercise excessively but are not underweight - you will be EDNOS.
Don't be afraid to ask for help, you could be saving your life. . . x
Good luck hunni..x

dont be ridiculous.
Anorexia is a disease and you need help. She's obviously worried if she's asked. Tell her you have a problem. There's ways to lose weight in a healthy way, otherwise you'll probably end up getting extremely sick and dying. might sound harsh but its the truth.
Would you rather be a normal body size.... or dead?

Therapists and counselors are trained to react to anything you say and to take it seriously, if you feel you need help you should be able to feel good about going to your therapist or other adult that you trust and tell them yr problem and hopefully they will help.
Last year my friends were afraid that I had developed anorexia and they contacted my school counselor and the counselor took it very seriously and they reacted fast.

Fat people dont usually become anerexic because they like to eat too much, fat people are usually bulimic or something. Tell your doctor because you need to eat. She wont laugh at you. after you tell your doctor and you still think your fat, then maybe you can try excercising and you'll lose weight the healthy way. But i doubt that your fat and need to lose weight anyway

Your appropriate weight will be one hundred and forty lbs so below one hundred and twenty lbs will be referred to as underweight and above one hundred sixty lbs will be referred to as overweight. Your weight is astounding. maximum of your weight is muscle weight and muscular tissues weigh a lot more suitable than flabby fat.

She won't laugh, believe me. Please tell her -- you know yourself better than anyone, and if you think that you have anorexia, she should know, so that she can help you. She won't laugh.

You don't say how tall you are or how much you currently weigh. That would definitely help answer your situation.
